Crain’s Custom's Hispanic Executive and Entrepreneur Awards FAQs
Who is eligible to be recognized as a Crain’s Hispanic Executive and Entrepreneur?
Nominees must be a person can who trace their ethnic origin or descent to a Hispanic culture. They must have made a significant and lasting impact in both the business and philanthropic sectors of NYC. They should work in or have a business in the five boroughs of NYC for a minimum of three years. Previously nominated individuals who were not selected may be re-nominated this year by submission of updated nominating materials. Only individuals are eligible for the award. Institutions, groups and teams are not eligible. Self-nominations are permitted.
How will I know if my nominee is selected?
After the awards deadline on August 25, nominations are processed through our system and reviewed. On or about September 11, the finalists will be notified by Crain’s Custom Editors that they have been chosen as a finalist. On September 18, Crain’s will publicly announce the names of the finalists. Winners are revealed on October 13 at the Crain’s Hispanic Executive and Entrepreneur Award Luncheon at the New York Athletic Club, located at 180 Central Park South in NYC.
What if I don’t have my nominee’s full contact information?

Will I know if my nomination form has been rejected?
Yes, all nominators will be notified on or about September 15th. Finalists will be listed in Crain’s New York Business on Monday, September 18.
